Nick is a well-known Tasmanian after more than three decades on television, which included 20 years hosting the national fishing program Hook Line and Sinker.
Nick grew up on Flinders Island and has a strong background in agriculture and small business. Along with his successful TV production company, Nick owned and operated an accredited transport business providing school bus services through the East Tamar, Northern Midlands and Flinders Island. Nick attended school in Launceston and holds a Bachelor of Business degree in Maritime Management and Logistics from the Australian Maritime College.
An active member of our local community including not for profit organisations, sporting, recreational aviation groups and volunteering including supporting men’s health initiatives, the Royal Flying Doctor Service and served as national Neighbour Day Ambassador.
Nick lives in Launceston with his wife Amanda and their three daughters. He has spent much of his career filming across Australia and his travels have reinforced how fortunate we are to enjoy the Tasmanian way of life. He is committed to delivering real results for the people of Windermere as an dynamic part of the Rockliff Liberal government.
